Both adults and children demonstrate a number of common personality traits, behaviors, and biases when making decisions. A person may have a dominant trait, but everyone exhibits each of these in different decision contexts, such as being under stress or faced with a novel situation. The FIVE-to-Decide Conversation is designed to positively reinforce good decision making behaviors. With the exception of Maura the Mentor and Claire Smart-Choice, the behaviors and biases that degrade the quality of decision making are illustrated in the parent personalities and our Little Decision Makers ensemble. Maura the Mentor and Claire Smart-Choice represent the parent and adolescent that are good decision makers and mentors. |
